Q: So who are you?
A: My name is Chris. I'm studying Fine Art at San Jose State University, and it is almost my 3rd year.
Q: What do you do?
A: I'm interested in living life in the ways that I find interesting. I like to write, sing, make music, play video games, and do all the other fun stuff that other 20-somethings do.
Q: What do you believe in?
I want to believe that there is a God out there, some power that is over everything, that somehow knows what they're doing. I like to believe that everyone is basically good in the world, but by a function of environment, they turn out bad. I don't believe in conspiracy theories, and I know quite about history and the world at large. However, if I don't know the answer to a question that you have of me, I will probably go home and learn the answer ASAP. I strive to learn, and everyone should have that kind of passion for life.
Q: Why did you bring up conspiracy theories?
Other than watching a video feed on conspiracy theories at this very moment, I get asked this quite a lot, especially lately. I don't know why people keep asking me about them, maybe I just seem weak minded?
Q: Can you draw me?
Sure. Portrait, at least 3 inches high with enough detail is all that I ask. I charge $5 for a complete finished piece, but you can have the original, and a free professional copy. Realize that it usually takes me up to three to four hours of constant work in order to finish a complete portrait, and my time is quite valuable.
Q: Why are you always dressed so nice? Why are you always wearing a blazer? Why do you wear a suit?
A: I believe that fashion and how you present yourself is a factor of life. 90% of your visible body is clothing, and expressive people should use that to their advantage. It's not worth it to go out wearing the exact same, boring style of dress, in which to present yourself. I like to combine the old and the new, the gentlemen's fashions of the past, with the new fashion forward feeling of today. I realize that a suit is often shown as conformist, but I believe that you can play with the men's suit in the same way we do with casual fashion. Most of all, I like to dress up, to look good. If you don't like it, then continue to dress like a bum.
